A music holiday camp for young musicians 6 - 16
OUR STORY INFO
Rock School was born from a desire to give talented young musicians the opportunity to put the skills learned in countless musical instrument and singing lessons to the test.

As professional musicians and teachers, we noticed that, while our students were progressing on their instruments, they had no outlet to put those skills into action, so we decided to change that.
​
Starting with just a small group of 10 attendees in Nunhead's famous Ivy House's function room in 2022, we're now an established part of South-East London's music scene, putting on holiday camps and gigs four times a year.
Our music camp runs for four days from 10am-4pm with a 2pm performance at a proper music venue the following Saturday.

All four of our facilitators are enhanced DBS-checked professional musicians and music teachers.
​
We can provide instruments but if your child has one they are comfortable with please have them bring it along.
​
Please have your child bring a packed lunch as we will take an hour's lunch break at 1pm

What we offer
Collaboration and Creativity
Our team of DBS-checked professional musicians will help your child learn how to listen and collaborate with their musical peers as we teach them how to devise their own songs as a team.
Community
Meet other like-minded young musicians and form bands! All our attendees get placed into bands of 3 - 6 members within the same age group and rehearse and perform with that band for the full week.
Experience
Often the first gig is the most nerve-wracking. We offer a supportive and controlled environment for your child to learn the rush of live music at a real venue!
